Have you ever thought of becoming an English teacher in your church?

Well, If I were able to become an English teacher at a school established by our church, I wouldn¡¯t hope for anything more. However, I can¡¯t become a teacher at school whether it is authorized by the Ministry of Education or not because I don't have a teacher¡¯s license which takes me 4 years to attain in university as far as I am concerned. Right now, there is no way for me to be a teacher at school under the current law or system. However, there are many areas for me to serve using my English skills at church, local community, or Sunday School. As you know, studying English has been a top priority in Korea across the nation. In relation to it, I have a short-term plan to use my English skills, such as a monthly English Camp for children who can¡¯t afford to study English as other children do. Or I can make some tour program for immigrants who can speak English. Traveling around historic attractions with kind explanations about them help foreigners improve their understanding of Korea.
