It depends on what you want to learn abroad—for instance, just learning English skills in a language course in an English-speaking country has more disadvantages than advantages considering the cost-effectiveness of studying abroad because there have already been numerous English-intensive courses in Korea that serve good language courses at a reasonable price. However, there are also many things that are worthwhile studying abroad and that you have to study abroad, such as IT, and high technology. However, thanks to various media, we can be educated at home on the internet. Therefore, if possible, it is wise to study in Korea, or through media. But if what you want to learn were not available, you could think about going abroad to study.
