First of all, the thing what I do to minize spending on food is eating it at home. I used to order food through internet for delivery when I was single. I could save money because it is possible to have it more than two times. If I buy all ingredients for food, I would dispose many things due to the expire date. It is alomost impossible to use vegitables before expire date. That's why we can easily find the simple food for single at the market. Many people would live alone because of their finance problem and values. People don't want to be bothered by their partner and enjoy their life alone because they can have more free time. We can save money on various places. So, I guess it depends on people's value to thier life. However, eating is one of the basic desires for human. I believe that people would like to spend money enough to what they want to eat. Although, most restaurants use artificial flavors, people are willing to visit there because it is more convient than making it at ho
