To the best of my knowledge, genetically modified food is yet to be verified as safe because many countries are still against importing GMOs. However, I am not against GMOs themselves. We need to develop agricultural technology to solve the food shortage around the world when the population of the world is rapidly increasing to 9 billion people in 2040. Scientists say that sooner or later people will benefit outcomings from GMO technologies in resolving food shortage problems. Therefore, we have to be careful about GMOs until we can make sure it's safe for our food because it is kind of early to utilize genetically modified food as our stape. We need to do our best in developing related technology for the future.
