Yes. Because if we get obesity, we can get cancer or in a serious case, we will get die. These are a real story and some scientists says some obesity can be a heredity from their family. It will be able to heredity but most of people's obesity is disease.

I agree that obesity is a disease. It is true that we can inherit the gene that would make harder for our bodies to metabolize the food that we eat that's why we store more fat in our bodies. However, this gene will most likely be enhanced because of bad lifestyle. Many people love to eat junk food and forget to exercise. Which is why many people are obese. Anyhow, I hope you're living healthily. ^_^
