The benefits of learning multiple languages are the following :
The first and most beneficial point of learning various languages is to make many foreign friends. I already made many foreign friends from Africa, Indonesia, and Philippines with just English skill. If I could speak other languages other than English, I could make more foreign friends from various cultures or countries.
Second, multiple language skills will enable me to go around the world without difficulties. I could interact with anyone anywhere in the world. I could do team projects or businesses with anyone anywhere. I could get more chances for businesses which leads to great fortune.

The drawbacks
First, It takes us a lot of energy and time to learn multiple languages. Therefore, we have to think about the plus and minus of it before jumping at this time-consuming and laborious process.
Second, dabbling in various languages must end up not being good at any language. So, we have to focus on proficiency.

Additional Advantage: It's not simple to learn a second language. Why care if you got it right and expanded your skill set if you did? That certainly gives me more confidence.

Additional Disadvantage: It costs money to learn a second language. If there are other costs involved as well, this cost becomes troublesome.

Always keep in mind how crucial English is in all areas. Surely, more will follow if you improve on one of them.
