I think they have difference between a souvenir and a present. Souvenir recall some places and Present recall for people. First, I can get souvenirs from special places like when I travelling. Therefore, when I look at souvenirs, then I think about place where I get that one. Next, I can get present from other people. Therefore, when I look at present, that recall people who give that to me.
