In 1970s, ex-president, Park introduced the special campagin called "Saemaeul" that accelate our economy. As part of the campaign, people in the villages used to clean up their society in early morning. As well as, students gathered before their class and went out to pick up garbages around their school and town. As I know, we don't have any social groups to clean up trash on the road nowadays, but a local government hire cleaners who clean up their city. They are in charge of cleaning streets, picking up trashes from the househoulds and food garbages. Although, there aren't voluntary groups to clean our cities, we have many organizations to monitor or keep our environment. These groups give politicians an idea and point out the problems. Trash is one of the serious problems we have to solve these days. Seoul have been encounted the shoutages of places where we dispose trashes. That's why our government encourage people to recycle it well. It can be one solution.
