As an entry-level worker, I am always assured that self-development should be a significant motivation for work. However, as you know, I am no longer motivated at the workplace. The work progress mainly derives from responsibility and salary. I usually joke that I am destined to work from a consumption pattern. Usually, I relieve stress from purchasing goods. This habit indicates that I am not good with money. To excuse me, I primarily relied on short-term savings because the nature of my previous work did not allow me to invest in any market from conflict of interest. Back then, I mostly parked my money in the bank account, while others had high profits from stock investments and accumulated wealth for early retirement. It does not indicate that I did not try. However, it was too late because the recent financial market is suffering from increased interest rates to tackle inflation. Therefore, I am determined to have late retirement as possible and work diligently as far as I can.
