My favorite flower is rose. Actually, the rose is common, but I'm not boring about it. Especially the red rose is attractive and good to make it dry flower. So sometimes I make it dry and hang it up across the wall. It has nice smell, too. When I went to the rose park in my country, I felt happy to smell the natural rose perfume. So I love to buy rose purfume. Moreover, I saw the rose vane in the cartoon book 'Candy Candy'. It was so wonderful. So I hope to have the rose vane gate in my house someday like the attached photo. Last, I want to mention about the rose's thorn. Someone said rose is dangerous because of the thorn, but I don't agree with it. I think the harmony of a beautiful flower and fatal thron is fantastic. It looks soft, warm, sharp and reasonable. So I like the thron with rose. I think it means that people don't manage the rose indiscreetly.

Roses are indeed beautiful and fragrant. My mom loves them too especially red roses. 
Oh, the pictures you sent are so lovely. It feels classic and Disney at the same time. 
I also agree with you regarding the thorns. It really help the roses to be taken care of carefully by the people.
