Most Korean food are spicy such as kimchi, gochujang and so on. We don't usually give spicy food children because there might have a stomach problem although some children can afford to eat it. Kimchi is the representative side dish in my country which is made with cabagges and chilly power. Some people want to relieve their stress by eating extremely spicy food. They feel good if they are sweated while they are eating these food. There is belief if people eat spicy food, it is more delicious than non spicy food. Koreans usually prepare their meals with various side dishes and soup. Many people don't want to eat it without soup, especially spicy one. There is superstition that spicy soup helps solve hang over after heavy drink. That's why many people try to find restaurants which sell soup and we can see a lot of restaurants which open early morning.
