I agree with the government to release the list of blocked websites with the SNI blocking method. The reason is that such methodology is essential for Korea to eradicate the illegal pornographic website using the spy cam. The major controversy about the SNI method is that government could track the users who attempt to visit the illegal website. The tool could exacerbate censorship by eavesdropping on the users, but there is a human rights issue associated with spy cam incidents. Not only could innocent civilians be the target, but the problem of spy cam is also from ruthless distribution related to revenge porn. However, there are two problems brought about by the SNI method. It could intensify the effort to circumvent the measures by using encryption. Also, the illegal website has mushroomed lately, so it has become challenging for the government to tackle these websites swiftly. Accordingly, the SNI blocking methodology would be the inevitable measure but still need development.
