I tend to prioritize a learning opportunity, colleagues, and salary range when looking for a job. The opportunity to learn from colleagues, clients, and work is vital. Throughout my previous experiences, I must substitute the concept learned at university and certification to clients’ concerns. Through job-shadowing and conversation with clients, I navigated the efficient way to utilize my academic background in a real business. Therefore, I prefer a job where I can learn from the best. Second, there are colleagues. Since they are the ones I must collaborate with to accomplish the objective, relationships with coworkers matter to me. I was lucky to work with motivated and collaborative individuals in my previous careers. Then there is the salary range. It is essential to be paid based on the contribution. I sometimes feel under-compensated in my current role because there is no overtime compensation and sales incentive with various extra works and sales targets.
