What is the most unusual excuse you can come up with for skipping your English class?

I have two unusual excuses that I can come up with for canceling the English class

1. sore throat
I have a sore throat it's hard to pronounce the words. Nowadays temperature between morning and day is so wide that many people suffer from cold in Korea. I have no exception for that. I had a touch of cold in the morning. My throat got worse in the afternoon. Now I am afraid that I will have a frog in my throat in the evening. We used to talk to too much during class. I think a long conversation could make my throat worse. So I have to skip English class today.

2. my kids' PJ party in my place
I will throw a PJ party for my daughter's birthday. So many friends of my daughter are invited to the PJ party this time when I have an English class tonight. My daughter has been begging me to have a PJ party with his favorite pals tonight, so I had no choice but to comply with her request. I'll do more than that to please my daughter who has done her best to live up to my expectations.

Hey Steve!

Thank you for answering the question for this homework! It's really interesting to see the different excuses for canceling English classes, but usually, it's just because my students are caught up with work. I'm kind of surprised that my students still attend class even though they are a bit sick.

I agree with you! I also cancel my class when I have a sore throat and a terribly hoarse voice. There is no way I can teach in that situation. The only way to get back my voice is by resting.
Really!? PJ parties? Your kids must have a great time hosting PJ parties. You're a great dad. Thank you for sharing these excuses

Like before, please see the changes that I made, these are all for making the ideas clearer. Also, please avoid using "So" at the beginning of a sentence. They can usually be connected to the first sentences especially if it is an independent clause.
Keep it up!
-Teacher Violet.
