Separating the customer demand allowed me to quickly navigate the most efficient strategy for customers. Second, I collaborated with team members and learned to think beyond my barrier from their insights and experience. For example, the channel management team gave me the idea that many Japanese subscribers prefer paper news over digital. Therefore, I introduced clients to the newsletter service, which has a similar format to paper news. As a result, I retained 40 subscribers per month and increased my customer base by 70%.
