I had been living alone for about 15 years before I got married since I was 20 years old. I have learnt how to effectively do house chores. As a part of family members, I have to do it as possible as I can do such as cleaning up, cooking and so on. I am quite good at doing repeated work. Thus, I can do any house chores quicker than my wife. Actually, I am not satisfied with the results what my wife is done. I always wash the dishes again although, she did it due to the reason above. I used to leave all plates and bowls in the sink because there were a few dishes that I needed to wash but I must do it immediately once my family are done their meals. If not, there aren't available plates. The most difficult things that I have to do is letting my children take a shower. They always want me to help them but I have back pain when I bend my waist. It sometimes bother me but it's tolerable pain until now. However, I always have a hard time to help patients to wake up from the table .

At an early age, my grandmother already gave us daily chores. I remember when I was 9 years old, I already know how to cook rice the traditional way. I really hated that chore before because I really need to focus on the rice that is being cooked. I need to wait for the rice to boil, open the lid of the pot, wait for the water to evaporate then close the lid and put the fire low.  There were many times that our rice has been burned because of my negligence. Good thing, now we have a rice cooker. You can already leave and just wait for the rice to be cooked. :)
